Mortar City Masonry was 1 of 3 companies I contacted for an estimate to replace my back porch stairs and tuck pointing on the porch. Scott came and assessed the job & provided an estimate. He had a vision for the porch, the stairs & the surrounding cracked concrete. His recommendations sealed the deal, they were far more appealing than any of the other proposals.Once I signed the contract the work was slated to begin in 3-4 weeks. The back porch and stairs were completed the following week. The concrete was scheduled later than projected but, to my surprise the tear out & pour were completed in one day. I had a few concerns regarding the concrete job after I was able to fully access the area. However, I was impressed with how diligently my concerns were addressed. After another contractor (lutz masonry) ruined my chimney, I needed help in a bad way. I called Mortar city and was able to get some questions answered, they spent 20 some-odd minutes calming me down on the phone.
