Mortar City Masonry was 1 of 3 companies I contacted for an estimate to replace my back porch stairs and tuck pointing on the porch. Scott came and assessed the job & provided an estimate. He had a vision for the porch, the stairs & the surrounding cracked concrete. His recommendations sealed the deal, they were far more appealing than any of the other proposals.Once I signed the contract the work was slated to begin in 3-4 weeks. The back porch and stairs were completed the following week. The concrete was scheduled later than projected but, to my surprise the tear out & pour were completed in one day. I had a few concerns regarding the concrete job after I was able to fully access the area. However, I was impressed with how diligently my concerns were addressed. After another contractor (lutz masonry) ruined my chimney, I needed help in a bad way. I called Mortar city and was able to get some questions answered, they spent 20 some-odd minutes calming me down on the phone. Scott came out and was able to explain what work needed to be done to fix the last contractors terrible work, and was able to get me a quote we were both happy about.
